LCC staff and students can now stay up-to-date with investments to our current building and plans for our new building – currently expected to open in 2027 – with a ‘Future LCC' information point now available in the canteen.

A 3D model of UAL’s new building for LCC, as well as posters containing information on the ongoing enhancements to our current building and plans for our new building, has been installed at the information point – open now in the foyer area of the canteen.

In one poster, the information point gives staff and students and insight into some of the planned features of UAL's new building for LCC. Located just across the road from our current site, and currently expected to open in 2027, the new building will allow us to experiment further with new ways of working – keeping us at the forefront of new thinking and making.

While we look towards and plan for our cutting-edge new building, the College continues to enhance existing facilities with the latest technological advancements and introduce new facilities to our current building – which first opened in 1962. Students and staff can find out more about these ongoing improvements works in the second poster.

Students can find out more about LCC’s current facilities on the Technical Resources Moodle page and can find out more about UAL's new building for LCC on the LCC new building page of the UAL website.
