40 Lime Grove features in Open House Festival 2026
The School of Pre-degree Studies has some exciting news to annouce: This September, Lime Grove - where all our pre-degree courses are taught- will be part of the Open House Festival.
On the day, we''ll be weloming the general public in for a look behind the scenes, and we'd love to have your contributions to help us make it a really meaningful experience for visitors.
What is the Open House Festival?
'Open House Festival is a London-wide festival that opens up and celebrates the city’s built environment. Every year, buildings and other sites across all 33 London boroughs open to the public, so that Londoners can explore them for free. Last year, the festival achieved record attendance figures, with an estimated 370,541visits to over 3000 activities across every borough of London.' Open House Festival website.

... is the date for your diaries. And from 10am - 4pm, Londoners, locals, staff and stakeholders will be able to book onto a free, guided tour of 40 Lime Grove and get to hear about the history and heritage of the building.
Here's where you come in
Do you have any photos, artefacts, stories or other which could be used as part of a display for visitors to see and to create a sense of the atmosphere and lived history of Lime Grove?

Register for the event now
Head over to the Open House Festival website to create an account. You will see Lime Grove listed under 'guided tours' . You will be able to book your ticket on 19 August, but you will need to register for an account first.
