Carpenter’s Land Bridge (the pink bridge) is located at the back of London College of Fashion (LCF), UAL’s East Bank campus, and provides access to the side entrance of our building on the ground floor. Carpenter’s Land Bridge is now open, after a period of closure while International Quarter London undertook landscaping works and London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) took legal possession of the bridge from Network Rail.

Please note while the front and side doors of our building are closed during the colder months, on exiting the building on Lower Ground, go up the stairs to reach ground level, and turn left to make your way to the side of the building to access the bridge.

How to access the bridge

From Stratford tube station

If you are exiting out of Stratford Underground Station – take the escalator or lift up to ‘The Street’ (which is the outdoor part of Westfield Shopping Centre). You will see M&S on your left, and the Westfield entrance on your right. Continue straight ahead and turn left at Fountain Square towards the restaurants. Head to the road (Westfield Avenue), then cross into the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park (QEOP) onto Endeavour Square. Once you reach Bread Street Kitchen, turn right. Follow along until you reach Carpenter’s Land Bridge (the pink bridge) leading to the building side entrance.

From Stratford International

Exit Stratford International via the right-hand side, towards Westfields Shopping Centre. Go up the stairs or the escalators into the shopping centre and exit via the doors directly in front of you where Caffè Concerto is on your right. Here, turn right towards Westfield Avenue. Cross the main road and turn left onto Arber Lane. Continue onto Arber Way, past HERA on your left, and onto Carpenter’s Land Bridge leading to the building side entrance.
