2026 Graduation Ceremonies

Postgraduate ceremonies

Tuesday 17 March

  • 11am – Chelsea, Camberwell and Wimbledon Colleges of Arts
  • 2pm – London College of Fashion

Wednesday 18 March

  • 11am – Central Saint Martins and Creative Computing Institute
  • 2pm – London College of Communication

Undergraduate ceremonies

  • Monday 13 July – Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon Colleges of Arts, Creative Computing Institute and Learning and Teaching Directorate
  • Tuesday 14 July – London College of Fashion
  • Wednesday 15 July – Central Saint Martins (including summer postgraduate graduates)
  • Thursday 16 July – London College of Communication

Registration

How do I register for graduation?

Graduates must register their attendance through the myGraduation tab on the student portal.

I don’t see the myGraduation tab. What should I do?

If the myGraduation tab is not visible, please submit a query using the Graduation Student Enquiry Form available on the University of the Arts London website.

When does registration close?

Registration for the postgraduate ceremonies is now open until Monday 16 February. All eligible students will be contacted by the Awards team.

Preferred name

Your first name and surname will be called out as you cross the stage. If you would prefer a different name to be read out, please contact the Graduation Team via the Enquiry Form. They will review your request and update your name where necessary.

About the ceremonies

Where is the graduation ceremony?

The ceremony will take place at the Royal Festival Hall, Southbank Centre, Belvedere Road, London, SE1 8XX.

What are the nearest transport links?

The nearest transport links are Waterloo train and tube station.

Is there parking available?

No, there is no parking at the venue.

What should I wear?

The ceremony is a formal event. While we recommend formal wear, it is up to you to decide what to wear.

How long do the ceremonies last?

The ceremonies typically last between 1 to 2 hours, depending on the number of graduates.

Are the ceremonies streamed online?

Yes, the ceremonies will be streamed live. The link will be available on this page and on UAL social media channels.

Guests

How much do guest tickets cost?

Guest tickets: £28 each (not including Royal Festival Hall booking fee).

Private box (seats 4 guests): £200 (not including Royal Festival Hall booking fee).

How many guest tickets can I buy?

You can book up to 2 guest tickets or 1 private box that seats 4 people.

Can I book more guest tickets?

Additional guest tickets may be available once registration closes. These will be on a first-come, first-served basis and will not sit with your original group.

Do children need a guest ticket?

Children over 3 years old require a guest ticket. Children under 3 years old can sit on a guest’s lap and will not need a ticket.

Can a relative or friend attend without a guest ticket?

Yes, the building is public, but they will not be able to enter the auditorium without a guest ticket.

Robes and Photography

Where do I hire my academic robe?

Graduates should hire their academic robes from our preferred supplier, Ede and Ravenscroft.

Can I use a different supplier for my academic robe?

Yes, you are free to use another supplier if preferred, as we cannot restrict your choice.

I am eligible for financial help with my robe (Hardship Fund/Bursary).

Students eligible for financial assistance will be contacted once registration has closed with a single-use discount code for the robe. Students still need to register their own attendance.

Where can I book photography?

Ede and Ravenscroft will provide professional photography at the graduation ceremony, and you can book directly with them.
