Biography

Internationally accomplished creative practitioner and Senior Lecturer (FHEA) driven by the belief that creativity is a fundamental tool for social progress. With a 25-year career that moves fluidly between the global creative industries and academic lecturing and research, my work is informed by a deep engagement with contemporary culture and a commitment to 'the common good.'

"Musicology" is a research project investigating the intersection of music, mental health, and social justice. I explore how the transformative power of the arts can be strategically applied to enhance collective wellbeing and drive social change. This work synthesises global academic insights with practical creative strategy to advocate for music as a fundamental pillar of public health and community resilience.

With a 25-year career bridging high-level industry leadership with a rigorous research focus on social justice and inclusive pedagogy. My work investigates the intersection of design, digital ethics, and intersectional justice, exploring how 'creativity for the common good' can dismantle systemic biases in global education.

Drawing on a professional background that includes strategic collaborations with global icons such as Giorgio Armaniand Tina Turner, I translate complex cultural narratives into impactful social action. As a contributor to Shades of Noir, I develop research-informed content focused on decolonizing curricula, while my work with the Italian Ministry of Education—designing and delivering nationwide workshops on digital ethics and cyberbullying—demonstrates my commitment to translating policy into accessible, protective pedagogy.
