How to contact us during Clearing

If you have any questions regarding Clearing, you can chat with us online or call our Clearing telephone line on 0207 514 8870. Our Clearing lines will be available on Results Day from Thursday 13 August.

You can speak to us during these times:

  • Thursday 13 August: 8am - 6pm
  • Friday 14 August: 8am - 5pm
  • Monday 17 August – Tuesday 18 August: 9am – 5pm

We expect a high volume of enquiries during peak hours, so there may be a short wait before someone is available to chat with you.

Who can apply through Clearing?

You can apply for a course through Clearing if:

  • you applied after the 30 June deadline.
  • you didn’t receive any offers, or you didn’t accept the ones you received, and you're still looking for a university.
  • you exceeded your predicted grades and want to change universities.
  • you declined your offers and are searching for a more suitable university or course.
  • you didn’t meet the entry conditions for your chosen university.

International students

We are no longer accepting applications from international students for 2026/27 entry. Applications for 2027/28 entry will open in Autumn 2026.
