This year’s Summer Shows kicked off this week at the London College of Communication. This was a chance for graduates from LCC’s Photography, Photojournalism, Sound Arts and Film and Television courses to showcase the talents they have been honing during their time at the college.
The first private view drew in huge crowds of students, staff, industry and even the odd comedian (with Harry Enfield making an unexpected appearance). And with an Alumni event to celebrate 50 years of LCC at the Elephant and Castle coming up on 26 June it was great to see so many former students back to support the next next generation.
BA (Hons) Journalism graduate and LCC storyteller Morgana Edwards attended the private view to speak to some of the students exhibiting their work at the college for the final time. She’ll be sharing students last words on LCC and reporting for us throughtout June so keep an eye on the LCC blog for all the best from the shows.
