Biography
Jane McFadyen is Head of Camberwell, Chelsea, Wimbledon Colleges. Pro Vice-Chancellor, University of Arts London.
She has 30 years experience of working in arts education and brings her practice as a jeweller to her user centred approach to student and staff experience. She has been at UAL since October 2017.
Her current role involves academic leadership in the enhancement of curriculum and in developing new models of learning and teaching through embedding interdisciplinary practices into all student experiences.
This builds on her award winning work leading 'Unit X" a cross course unit of study for all students at the Manchester School of Art where students work in collaboration with external partners on live projects.
