UAL's Creative Enterprise Network

University of Arts London (UAL) is accelerating the entrepreneurial capacity of its six London colleges by articulating its inherent diversity as a ‘Creative Enterprise Network’.

The strategic sharing of expertise, resources and networks across colleges will help UAL’s student and staff entrepreneurs to scale-up the impact of their ventures.

Building on the large number of student start-ups formed every year, in 2023 Dr Gavin Clark was appointed as UAL’s inaugural Director of Enterprise & Commercialisation to support and grow knowledge- and IP-based opportunities.

UAL welcomes the report from the Independent Review of University Spin-out Companies and is committed to adopting its recommendations which empower academic staff to bring their creative ideas to application and impact.

At UAL, we believe that the world needs creativity. Building an environment that supports entrepreneurial activities for our students, alumni and staff is central to this - and one of many ways that we can demonstrate the immense value of creativity to our society and economy.
