UAL has moved up 8 places to number 43 in the Complete University Guide 2022, out of a total of 130 institutions. Following positive performances in 2019 and 2020, we have climbed the ranking by 41 places in 3 years.

This year’s position within the top 50 also places us 7th among London-based universities and top in terms of specialist arts institutions. The metrics which contributed to our score include strong performances in the areas of student satisfaction, research quality and degree completion. As well as the overall rankings, the Complete University Guide rates institutions by subject area. We have risen in the rankings for Art and Design this year.
