Earlier this month, three third year BA Theatre Design students realised their collaborative projects with BA Dance Performance students from Middlesex University in a series of innovative performances.
The three students involved, Liz Whitbread, Chiara Foote and Yalan Xu, have been working hard over the autumn term to produce sets in response to the dance performances of Middlesex students. The event staged three transient dance performances back to back, bringing our onsite theatre to life with vibrant use of sound, lighting and projections.
Each performance was enacted within its own unique set, often incorporated into the choreography itself creating a dynamic synergy of dance and design.
