I hope you all have had a creative summer break and are eager to start something new at Camberwell.
Let me introduce myself, I am Rob Reynolds your elected college specific officer. My role is to support you guys and help you if you have any issues or problems whilst studying at Camberwell. I am also studying Fine Art: Print & Time-Based Media at Wimbledon, my practice focuses on performance work.
We have some great things lined up for you throughout the term, so keep your ears open to the students union. Here at the SU, we want you to get involved to improve your education and experience at Camberwell. Have you ever considered being a course rep? Holding your course accountable and supporting your fellow students? It’s a great way of getting involved with the Student Union, and gaining valuable experience as a representative. For more information on becoming a course rep please email Nicky Pavitt (Academic Representation Manager) at email@example.com
We also have free money (yes free!) you can apply for to help you put on exhibitions or events. If you want to make something happen, get in touch to ask us about our funding opportunities.
We are holding a Get to Know Camberwell event this Monday 28 September, 13:00 – 17:00. Come along to meet fellow new students and for a tour of the college and local area. I’m also going to be holding a free Painting workshop, drop me an email if you are interested in coming along. Full details can be found on the SU website: www.suarts.org/freshers#calendar
Feel free to contact me any time for more info at: firstname.lastname@example.org or visit our website at www.suarts.org
Hopefully see you around!
