Jelena Stojković is an art historian, writer and curator based in London.
Her research is concerned with the intermedial and transnational approaches to the history and theory of the visual arts, with a particular focus on photography in Japan.
Stojković completed her PhD at the University of Westminster in 2013, titled 'Out of Sight: Surrealism and Photography in 1930s Japan', and was a Research Fellow at the University of Tokyo in 2012-2013.
She curated Photo Reference: Photographic Image in Contemporary Japanese Art Practices (2012) and co-programmed 'Archiving on the Line: Photography, Collecting and the Web' for Either / And (2013-2014). She publishes widely and was a guest editor of the PhotoResearcher 24 (October 2015).
