Biography

Isabel Greenberg is an illustrator and writer living in London.

She is the author of three graphic novels. The Encyclopedia of Early Earth (2013) and the One Hundred Nights of Hero (2016), both published by Jonathan Cape, were New York Times Graphic Bestsellers and have been translated into a variety of languages.

Her new graphic novel Glass Town will be published in Spring 2020, and investigates the Bronte juvenilia.

Isabel has a BA from the University of Brighton in Illustration and an MA from the Royal College of Art in Animation.

She has worked for a variety of clients including the Guardian, The National Trust and First Second. She has exhibited work at the V&A and Cecil Sharp House, and was a Somerset House Pick Me Up Select in 2014. She has illustrated nine non-fiction childrens books for Bloomsbury, Quarto Kids and Greenwillow books.
