Chelsea MA Fine Art graduates, artist collective Sisters from Another Mister, have created a new site specific public artwork for a three month exhibition at the newly refurbished Pullman Hotel, St Pancras London.

The hotel challenged MA graduates to propose a piece that would be installed in the main reception area of the hotel, a discrete yet busy area that is frequently used by guests for meetings.  They wanted the piece to reflect the contemporary nature of the hotel décor and be a piece that their guests and visitors could engage or interact with.

The winning piece entitled ‘Pullman Hotel- The Wall’  is produced by Sisters from Another Mister members Milda Lembertaite and Amelia Prazak who worked together to create a sound and video installation.

The graduate duo impressed the judges with their video filmed in the hotel’s pools, its soundtrack comprised of recordings taken from around the building.

The artists, said of the project: ‘This commission has been such a good way for us to develop our working practice and really start to establish ourselves in the professional art world.”

Visitors to the Pullman Hotel can view the video installation in the lounge until May 2015.
