Where are you from?

London

What course are you studying on?

BA Fine Art

Describe your experience at Chelsea in 3 words.

Exciting, fun and interesting

Please tell us about your work in the recent summer show.

My current artistic concept is drawing London landscapes, adding an ice rink to create a new and exciting feel within areas that I am passionate about. I have painted William Morris Gallery, Walthamstow town hall and I have been working on other main London landmarks such as Houses of Parliament, St Paul’s etc. I love working with vibrant colours within the ice rink paintings that I have recently been creating.

What was your greatest challenge in working towards the summer show?

Working on a balance of making sure that I give myself free time as well working on my pieces towards the show so that I didn’t become too stressed.

What do you see yourself doing after you graduate, what are your career ambitions?

What I see myself doing after I graduate is doing an art scholarship at Chelsea College of Arts as I am very passionate about doing one. I am going to be applying for 2 of the scholarships there as I would love to do one. I am also planning to join the Chelsea Alumni and also going to be taking part in more exhibitions across London as I would like to promote myself more.

What have you enjoyed most about studying at Chelsea?

What I have enjoyed most about studying at Chelsea College of Arts is going to the artists talks and the lectures as they have been very interesting. I have loved working in the studio spaces at Chelsea as they have been lovely to work in and its great working in a different and exciting environment. I have also loved meeting other students and learning more about the types of work that they do and why they have enjoyed doing the work that they do and what has inspired they do. Lastly I have enjoyed making awesome friends here and working with the most amazing staff here as well.

What have you most enjoyed about the area around Chelsea? Any tips?

What I have most enjoyed about the area around Chelsea is that it is very spacious, it is quite a comforting and enjoyable area and it is also very friendly. The people within the area of Chelsea are very welcoming so it’s quite easy to adapt to the area as well.

What would you say to someone who is thinking about doing your course? Any advice?

What I would say to someone who is thinking about doing the course is to take part in as many of the workshops that are going on. Try out new things and see what opportunities are out there that you can both into your own practice that can help you to become even more experimental and expressive.
