BA Graphic Design Communication students from across the first, second and third years have been celebrating their success at internationally-recognised awards this week. The course boasts six winners of this year’s D&AD New Blood Pencil and five Youth Creative Network (YCN) Award winners. Congratulations to all of the students involved!
D&AD New Blood Award Winners
The D&AD New Blood Awards are one of the most prestigious industry accolades that any student, graduate or under 24 can hope to achieve. Entrants are invited to respond to industry standard briefs set by global brands and, as the New Blood website states: “Winning a New Blood Pencil is an instant validation of your talent.”

YCN Award Winners:
The YCN Awards invite students from across Europe to respond to a specially curated selection of live creative briefs from companies such as Santander, Interflora and Save the Children. Entries are judged by the organisations behind each brief.
