Biography
Tim Carson has run an active and continuous making practice since 1991. Working from his atelier in Penge, predominately in the field of jewellery, he has exhibited internationally. His work explores the displacement of narratives, the badge as a political medium, the redundant machine and the role of the author in the making process.
Carson has a strong involvement in collaborative practice, currently working with 2 active jewellery collectives, ‘Dialogue Collective’ and ‘Extranalities’. When not lecturing or making things he is the vocalist in the band 'Scrotum Clamp'.
