Biography

Dimitris Bizioglis is a designer and educator. He is Course Leader of BA Graphic Design Communication at Chelsea College of Arts, UAL. Prior to this role, he was senior lecturer of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in communication design, interaction design and branding. He worked as a course leader and lecturer in MA Design, University of Sunderland - AAS College and visiting lecturer at Bayes Business School - City, University of London.

Recent achievements with his work-research include the creation of an innovative application that uses augmented reality technologies to make visitors of cultural sites become part of the monuments’ history and context.

Bizioglis' focus is on bringing together the disciplines of branding, innovation and design to create meaningful connections for sustainable growth. He was recently awarded for the branding of the museum of entrepreneurship in London.

His aim is to inspire students and deliver an education that is responsive and imaginative, researching how to design an interactive learning environment using emerging technologies and creating personalised learning experiences in order to engage art and design students.
