Maybelle Peters

Remote Residency

Maybelle is a London based artist and filmmaker working in film and CGI. She has a BA in Animation from UCA Farnham, where she is currently a practice-based PhD candidate.

Maybelle’s research during her remote residency at iniva examines the questions raised from searching, accessing, and using work such as Mary Evans’ CD-ROM ‘Filter’. Maybelle explores what technical conditions are required to facilitate engagement with multimedia work that due to the demise of CD-ROM technology, access has been hindered.
