During the Prosthetic Appliance Short Course students learn how to create a silicone flat mould and a silicone prosthetic appliance.

The course will guide students through all the equipment required, covering the safe use of chemicals and step by step instructions on the process of making a silicone flat mould and silicone prosthetic appliance. Students will also discuss the safe handling and storage of chemicals and equipment.

By the end of the course, students will have a greater understanding of the value of learning a simple mould making technique and the effect it can have on the outcome of the work.
