Following a successful trial, all UAL students will now use SEAtS (Student Engagement and Attendance Tracking System) to register attendance and manage absence requests.

The ‘I’M IN’ attendance card readers at LCC have been disabled and from September 2025 will no longer be used to register your attendance. Please DO NOT use the card readers.

Getting started with SEAtS:

What you need to do:

  • Check into your classes using the SEAtS Mobile app.
  • Request authorised absences using the SEAtS Mobile app.
  • Contact the IT Service Desk if you encounter any issues.

Quick reminders:

  • It is your responsibility to register your attendance at your scheduled sessions.
  • If you forget or have difficulty checking in using the SEAtS app, let your lecturer/tutor know at the start of the class and they will manually check you in.
  • Success comes from regular engagement - please reach out to your tutors or Course Support team if you need support to engage with your studies.

Get support at the LCC SEAtS helpdesk

If you are experiencing any SEAtS issues or have any questions, visit the SEAtS helpdesk at LCC's Lower Gallery on  Tuesday 30 September, 12pm–1pm.
