How you book some LCC Technical Resources is changing...

As of September 2024, how you make a booking for some Technical Resources and spaces at LCC is changing.

Until now, all bookings were made via the Online Resource Booking system (ORB).

For the 2024/25 academic year, bookings for workshops and facilities have been moved to the Technical Resources Moodle page, while some course-specific bookings and Kit Room bookings will remain on the ORB.

Use the Technical Resources Moodle page to book for:

  • 3D Workshop
  • Book Arts
  • Creative Technology Hub
  • Digital Print
  • The Digital Space
  • Image Capture Studios
  • Letterpress
  • Print & Finishing
  • Printmaking
  • Screenprint

Keep using the ORB to book for:

  • The Kit Room
  • Course-aligned activities ( such as in programmes including Film & TV; Moving Image and Digital Arts; and Sound)

These changes have been made based on student feedback and to make the booking process easier to navigate.

The improvements are part of broader enhancements to the Technical Resources Moodle Page for this year, including a clear, consistent and more streamlined layout. This aims to make it easier for students to find essential information and support.
