Reduction Printmaking Workshop Short Course

Course description

Our Reduction Printmaking Workshop Short Course will introduce participants basic black and white Lino printing before moving on to demonstrate and encourage them to create their own multicolour Lino Print from a single block.

Who should attend this course?

This course is suitable for beginners and anyone with an interest in print techniques. Students need to show an interest in pursuing fine art practice and and interest in painting is an advantage. However, the course is available to all and no previous experience is necessary.

Course outcomes
By the end of this course students should:

• Have developed reduction printmaking skills and techniques.
• Have worked with black and white Lino printing.
• Have experimented with using multicolour Lino printing.
• Have created their own series of prints

Please note: This course is for students aged 18 and older
