Take one of our 3 week online Study Abroad courses and develop your skills while connecting with other students from around the world.

Our online Summer Study Abroad programme provides interactive and engaging content that you can experience from anywhere. You will experience live sessions that allow you to engage with your tutor and other students from around the world in real time. Students will be able to engage with our course leader and other students on a stimulating array of activities related to our courses and London’s rich contemporary visual and material culture.

Visuals for Fashion

In this London College of Fashion Study Abroad course, you will explore visual communication and develop critical thinking in relation to fashion images and the importance of visual literacy.

Credit value

Each course is 45 contact hours (suggested credit value of 3 US credits). Students receive a Record of Study on completion of the course along with a suggested credit value. Credit is awarded by the home institution.

Level of study

Summer Study Abroad is suitable for students who have completed at least 1 year of undergraduate-level study.

Level of English

The equivalent of IELTS 5.0 or above is required.

The equivalent of IELTS of 6.0 or above is required for Journalism, Acting Shakespeare with Drama Centre and Art History, Criticism & Curation.

Summer 2020: Scholarship

Apply for our Summer 2020 scholarship. The Award winner will receive the cost of the tuition fee.

To apply for the Summer Study Abroad 2020 Scholarship, you must first hold a conditional offer of a place on an Summer Study Abroad Online course. To make your application, complete one of the following:

Create a video (no longer than two minutes) OR write a 250 word blog post (with photos) answering the following question:

Submissions should be sent to studyabroadoffice@arts.ac.uk with the subject Summer Study Abroad 2020 Scholarship Application. The deadline for scholarship submissions is 15 June 2020.

  • Scholarship winners will be asked to take part in promotional activities to promote Summer Study Abroad and the scholarship scheme.
  • The scholarships cover the tuition-fee only and depend on you successfully enrolling for the course. Our cancellation policy still applies.
