Phil Barton (MA Art and Science, CSM) invites you to join an organising group for actions to Remember Nature!

Monday 4 November 2019 will be the fourth anniversary of Gustav Metzger's "Call for Action to Remember Nature" issued in the Street at Central Saint Martins with the help of UAL Students. Metzger believed that it was the duty of artists to lead the way.

At a time when the Sixth Great Extinction is proceeding apace and the Earth’s natural systems are breaking down, Phil would like to work with fellow students and staff across UAL to organise actions to Remember Nature at each of the colleges at the same time on 4 November 2019.

Would you work with him to make it happen?  Phil would like to identify staff and students in each of the colleges who are as concerned about species loss and climate change as he is,  to form an organising group, working with Metzger’s ideas to make creative & participative actions happen in order to raise awareness of biodiversity loss amongst the UAL community and beyond.

If you are interested, please contact Phil Barton, MA Art & Science on pbarton1@btopenworld.com.

He will hold initial planning meetings in early March 2019.
