Mita Vaghela and Naira Mushtaq (MA Fine Art, CSM) have an open call for collaborators for their upcoming project:
Bringing the Spice at Raven Row is a one day event hosting an exhibition of work responding to the themes of food, identity and memory, a collective reading and cooking performance during a shared meal.
We are looking for students from arocss UAL, across all disciplines to collaborate with in the following roles:
- Women artists of colour to exhibit and collaborate with us to produce a show and a build a recipe based manifesto
- Film/documentary maker
- Graphic designer for producing the manifesto
- Curator
- Evaluator

Bringing the Spice is being produced by We Are Here! Women Artists of Colour - a platform led Vaghela and Mustaq that is committed to raising the profile of this under- represented demographic. We want and need to be seen and heard. We want to provide support through events, exhibitions and workshops to broaden research in this area and prevent erasure of this important work. @wahwomenartistsofcolour
