UAL Post-Grad Community held a talk by Gary Knight, an MBA student studying at Central Saint Martins. Who has worked for TV, Advertising, Digital, Creative and Media industry for over 40 years to an audience of cross-disciplinary postgrads from across UAL.

Gary gave an insightful talk on his experience in the industry and spoke about the changes the media industry is going through. This opportunity gave the students an insight into how the creative industry has grown over the years.

Through various examples of different TV shows such as X-Factor and Love Island to funny old school adverts, the students really enjoyed themselves and came away with a new understanding and insight into the industry.

To have someone like Gary Knight, who is studying at UAL was great because the talk was therefore, student-led and people could feel like they could ask anything relating to the topic. So, a big heartfelt thank you to Gary Knight!

And lastly, with the help of my course mate Mahesh Menon we created a short video capturing exciting moments from the talk. we hope you enjoy it!
