Thursday 5 March is University Mental Health Day. The occasion aims to encourage institutions to make mental health a university-wide priority to promote awareness and support to manage their wellbeing.
Although it’s officially just for a day, we’re marking the occasion with a week-long range of activities to promote mental health and wellbeing, organised by the UAL Counselling and Health Advice Service and the Social Programme.
Activities will take place across our colleges and halls of residence on the following days:

If you would like support and advice regarding your mental health and wellbeing, the UAL Mental Health Advice team is here to help.
Advice
We can provide you with professional recommendations, advice on medication and treatment options. We also give wellbeing advice and help in managing your symptoms.
Referral
We can help you connect with other services at UAL such as the Disability Service or Academic Support. We can also help you to access the NHS and other organisations outside of the university.
Support
We provide advice, guidance and ongoing support. We can help you navigate your student journey at UAL as well as support you in accessing external services where appropriate.
