Changes to building access at Central Saint Martins during May and June

This page contains key information about access changes and disruption at our King’s Cross site in May and June 2025.

The main entrance is open as usual.
Build and install will be taking place in the north end of the street from 8am.
Access to north end of the street will be strictly prohibited from approximately 11am.
Access to the Loan Store will be via the Canteen and K space during the shows to allow model access from middle core 2nd floor.
Access to J block GF (performance spaces) is via the J01 corridor.
There is no exit via J03 corridor doors (from Black and White Labs onto The Street).
Access to upper J and M blocks will be via front or middle staircase/lifts and walking across the Canteen Bridge then along the balcony through J block.
Access to the Platform Bar will be via Handyside doors until approximately 6pm.
Deinstall will take place immediately following the end of the shows.
Ushers will be in place to assist with wayfinding.

The show will be taking place in the Crossing this year.
Access to Crossing will be strictly prohibited between 2.30-4.30pm and 6.30-8.30pm.
Between 2.30-4.30pm and 6.30-8.30pm, all access to the building will be via the rear entrance while the shows take place.
Build and install will be taking place in the Crossing from the afternoon of the 3 June.
Deinstall will take place immediately following the end of the shows.
Ushers will be in place to assist with wayfinding.

Access to the main building will be restricted for the preview evening, with no re-entry for non-graduating/showcase students after 4.30pm at which point our Estates and Security teams will clear the building. This is to maintain safe building capacity and allow all graduating students and their guests to view the show.
Access to the Library and Learning Zones will be via the Granary Square fire exit door at the front of the building from 4pm.
Staff will be on hand to support with anyone who needs to use the accessible route to The Library and Learning Zone. This will be via the lift lobby.
