Origins Creatives 2026

This year, we hosted Origins Creatives at the prestigious Mall Galleries in London. Curated by Creative Debuts, we had an eclectic mix of artwork on display across all mediums, from print to digital, fashion to music and much more!

Over the course of the week, we welcomed almost 2000 visitors to the gallery, creating opportunities for students to share their creativity with a wide public audience.

Alongside the exhibition, we hosted a vibrant programme of events, including an exclusive Private View, Origins Creatives Live, where students took to the stage to perform and present their work, and a mindful yoga and movement session set within the inspiring surroundings of the gallery.

A celebration of creativity

More than just an exhibition, Origins Creatives is a celebration of ambition, imagination and achievement. It highlights the breadth of creative talent emerging from schools and colleges, showcasing work from a range of UAL Awarding Body subjects:

• Art and Design.
• Fashion Business and Retail.
• Creative Media.
• Music Performance and Production.
• Performing Arts.
• Entry Level 3 Art and Design and Performing Arts.
• Professional Diplomas.
• Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).

What you'll discover

Origins Creatives brings together an exciting collection of work from across UAL Awarding Body subject areas. You can expect to find:

• Striking paintings, drawing and sculpture.
• Creative photography and visual storytelling.
• Original films, animation and digital work.
• Fashion collections and textiles.
• Music production and performance projects.
• Live events throughout the week including music displays, workshops, speaker panels and much more!

Submit for Origins Creatives 2027

For students

Origins Creatives is a chance for students to showcase their original work and get a glimpse of their bright futures ahead of them. It’s a time to get inspired, be bold and creative! Students will gain valuable experience exhibiting their art before taking their next steps into higher education and the creative industries.

For educators

Students’ hard work deserves to be recognised. By submitting their creations for Origins Creatives, educators are giving these future artists the chance to build confidence, platform their creativity, gain recognition and open the door to new opportunities. We’ve had students go on to feature their work at other exhibitions, connect with established artists, sell their work to buyers and much more.
