Brand Asset Library
You can find and download all branded templates and assets from the UAL Brand Asset Library, where everything is kept up to date and ready to use. As a UAL staff member, you already have access — select the UAL Staff Login button and sign in using your usual details.
In the Brand Asset Library, you’ll find:
- Microsoft Office templates.
- Apple Keynote templates.
- Adobe InDesign templates.
- Motion graphics templates.
- Mailchimp templates.
- Helvetica Neue LT Pro, our typeface.
- Imagery.
These templates are for UAL staff and approved partners only, and should not be shared externally unless they are being used for work that is funded or led by UAL.
Emails and signatures
Writing an email
When writing an email, use the below styling in Microsoft Outlook:
- Typeface: Arial / Arial bold, 12pt.
- Colour: Black.
- Alignment: Left aligned.
- Use bold for headings and to call out content types.
- Use bullet points to help break down information.
Hyperlinks
When including hyperlinks in your emails, make it clear where the link is directing the reader. This will help screen readers to understand what the content of the link is, without needing to read out the full URL.
Example: You can source images from our Image Library.
Email signatures
Linking to your Teams
To include a hyperlink to your Teams chat, please add the below link to the word 'Teams' of the email signature and replace 'youremailaddress' with your email address.
https://teams.microsoft.com/l/chat/0/0?users=youremailaddress
Example: https://teams.microsoft.com/l/chat/0/0?users=a.smiths@arts.ac.uk
Pronouns
By including pronouns in our email signatures, we avoid creating situations where people make assumptions about gender identity. This is just one of the many ways to create inclusive spaces for everyone. Read more guidance on pronouns.

Additional wording and imagery
It's important for an email signature to be accessible and sustainable:
- Don't add additional wording. This adds more data to the email and increases the carbon footprint.
- Don't use imagery in your signature. It adds more data, interrupts the format and may prevent a recipient from seeing your signature or risk filtering your email to spam.
