In May we celebrated the launch of the third edition of Editorial Design with a panel discussion on the future of fashion journalism.
Alumni, guests and students from across University of the Arts London (UAL) came to Central Saint Martins (CSM) to hear a panel of industry professionals discuss what it’s like to start a career in editorial design today. This event was part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Fashion Communication department at CSM.
The panel featured Editorial Design author and CSM lecturer Cath Cadwell, alongside young, emerging journalists whose work is highlighted in the new edition.
Alumni panel members spoke about their careers since graduating from BA (Hons) Fashion Communication: Fashion Journalism. The discussion was moderated by Tamsin Blanchard, Pathway Leader for Fashion Journalism at CSM.
The panel:
- Cath Caldwell, author and lecturer at UAL
- Oswin Tickler, designer and lecturer in Journalism at London College of Communication
- Mollie Marshall, Digital Copywriter at Charlotte Tilbury
