Thinking about living in UAL accommodation? Visit The Costume Store on a guided tour with the UAL Accommodation team and a current student, alongside the Open Day: UAL Foundation Diploma in Art and Design at UAL School of Pre-degree Studies.

Please note: this hall tour is a separate booking from your UAL School of Pre-degree Studies Open Day.

Tour details
Date: Wednesday 2 December 2026
Times: Tours run between 10am and 1pm
Duration: Around 30 minutes, including time for questions
Meeting point: The Costume Store, 160 Victoria Road, London, W3 6EE
Group size: Up to 20 people per tour (split into two groups of approximately 10)
Booking: Up to 2 tickets, one student and one guest

Before you arrive
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your tour. On arrival, please have ready:

• Photo ID, such as a passport, driving licence or student ID card (prospective students)
• Your UAL student ID card (current students)
• Your Hall Tour booking confirmation from Eventbrite

If you're attending the UAL School of Pre-degree Studies open day, please keep your wristband on. You'll need it to enter The Costume Store and to get back into UAL School of Pre-degree Studies.

What to expect
The tour includes:

• Common areas and shared spaces
• A chance to meet a current UAL student
• Time to ask questions about living in halls
• An opportunity to speak to the UAL Accommodation team

A room viewing is not guaranteed, as this depends on availability and permission from current residents. We'll confirm at the start of the tour whether a room is available to view.

Who can attend?
Tours are open to prospective and current UAL students, Parents and Guardians.

Guests
Each booking includes one student and one guest. Additional guests are welcome to wait in the reception area.

Getting to The Costume Store
The Costume Store is about a 30 minute bus ride from UAL School of Pre-degree Studies.
From North Acton Underground station, it is a 3 minute walk to The Costume Store.

Accessibility
The tour route is step-free and all tour areas are accessible. There is an accessible toilet at reception.

Can I bring a dog?
Pets cannot join the tour. Registered assistance dogs are welcome. Please let us know when you book so we can support your visit.

Can't attend?
Please cancel your Eventbrite ticket as soon as possible so that another student can book a space.
