The Complete Photography Short Course
Course description
This 20-week Complete Photography Short Course offers a comprehensive exploration of photographic techniques, blending theoretical lectures with hands-on practical exercises and covering a wide range of mediums, from cameraless and analogue to digital and 3D photogrammetry.
The course offers students the opportunity to develop their own practice and produce a unique body of work and portfolio. In the first term, students will be taught a complete range of photographic skills and techniques. In the second term, students will apply their new skillset in order to create their own body of work based on their individual photographic interests, with support from the tutors and their peer group.
The course offers a foundational overview of the various processes of photography from analogue to digital and 3D and would be beneficial for anyone wanting to create a portfolio to apply for a degree or MA course.
To get the most out of the course, students will be expected to work around 4 hours outside of class to produce and engage with their own practice. This may be in the form of briefs or self-directed research.
Please note: This course runs on Saturdays. There will be no access to facilities and tutors outside of Saturday class time.
