Course description

Course overview

There is not always time in standard secondary English classes to fully delve into the ‘creative’ half of creative writing.

The Storytelling and Creative Writing for 16 to 18 Year Olds short course delves into various forms and structures of literary short fiction and will work with students to find their voice and focus.

For students with less artistic focus, the course will also serve as a new look at the components and structures of fiction writing. This will help students in their analyses of exam extracts and give them access to greater insights and critiques for their written responses.

This course is available in person across one week of daily sessions.
