Course overview

This course is designed for fashion creatives looking to excel in the art of swimwear and soft lingerie design in 3D. The aim is to help students develop skills in avatar creation, pattern drafting, fabric simulation and achieving realistic fittings.

During the course, you will delve into the creation and positioning of trims, elastics and accessories; crucial elements of swimwear and lingerie design details. The course explores animation techniques to animate your garments through walk cycles or turntables, along with tools like soft body dynamics to enhance the realism of your designs.

The course motivates students to design and stimulate their own capsule collection of performance-ready garments, utilising professional tools such as STYLE3D. By the end of the course, students will have stimulated and rendered both front and back views of their collection in high resolution, perfect for inclusion in portfolios, digital showcases or virtual prototyping.
