In this 12 week course you will be guided through the processes involved in running a small designer fashion label when you have limited access to resources. The course will include business foundations and team building, product development, marketing, selling to retailers internationally, managing production/logistics and finance management.

Course description

Do you have a creative vision of launching your own label but unsure where or how to start? Or do you currently have a fashion business and want to implement business processes to stand the test of time?

In this 12 week course you will be guided through the processes involved in running a small designer fashion label when you have limited access to resources. The course will include business foundations and team building, product development, marketing, selling to retailers internationally, managing production/logistics and finance management.

Through a combination of lectures based on first hand experience, practical exercises, open conversation and functional tools, this course will offer the insight, overview and skills required to start or manage a small independent fashion brand when resources are limited.


Who is this course for?

This course is aimed at recent graduates, designers, creatives, managers and entrepreneurs in the creative industries interested in launching their own business or improving the existing structure of their own. It is an excellent fit for individuals who are familiar with the design process and want to understand how to take an idea from start to finish with ingenuity in running a business.
