YuQi Sun moved to London from her native Hangzhou, China, to study on BA (Hons) Product and Furniture Design at Chelsea College of Arts. YuQui shares with us her reasons for applying to UAL, her favourite things about studying here and why she thoroughly enjoys bringing her ideas to life in the workshops.

“UAL is one of the top arts universities in the world: it’s full of creative students and endless learning resources. I thought studying at this university would be really helpful for my self-development.

"There’s always help available to deal with problems, whether they’re about daily life or study."

One of the highlights of my time here has definitely been the workshops and libraries. The wood workshop is my favourite - the technicians there are so nice and willing to help everyone to push their ideas further, while the resources in the library have really enabled me to develop my written work.

In terms of life after study,UAL is always actively sharing news about competitions and companies. For me, these are valuable sources to help prepare for my future career.”
