What is your name and where do you come from?

My name is Miruna Porosnicu and I am a student from Romania.

What course did you attend and why did you choose it?

Last Summer School I attended Portfolio Preparation for Architecture for 16 to 18 Year Olds as I would like to apply to a university in the United Kingdom, to specifically study architecture.

What did you enjoy most about your course?

We were free to explore new techniques and to try and develop our own ideas. The tutor, Miraj Ahmed, was always attentive to our needs and was an excellent guide in helping us achieve our work. The atmosphere was really pleasant and friendly, it almost felt as if I was at home.

How has this course benefited your career and personal development?

It provided me with another perspective on what architecture is or can be.

What would you say to someone who is thinking about taking a short course at Central Saint Martins?

I would definitely recommend Portfolio Preparation for Architecture. It was a great experience, extremely pleasant and the tutor was always attentive to our thoughts and ideas, making sure that we fulfilled them.

What do you believe is integral to the work of an artist, in any discipline?

Imagination and creativity, and of course to believe in yourself and in your ideas - however crazy they might be!

What 3 words best describe your short course experience at CSM?

Creative. Exciting. Refreshing.
