Could you help Sara Buoso, a PhD candidate at CSM produce the International Day of Light Symposium and Exhibition, to be held at Chelsea in May 2018?
Together with other UAL Postgraduate students, Sara launched the Light PG Reading Group with the purpose of discussing the interdisciplinary role of light in contemporary arts, including practices such as drawing, photography, installation, video, projections and spatial practices.
Sara is putting together a team to develop the International Day of Light Symposium and Exhibition, which will be held at Chelsea on the 16th May 2018.
She is interested in collaborating with UAL Postgraduate students across all colleges, who have an interest in light, light-based practices and light-technologies.
The roles will be wide ranging – including:
- developing a visual identity for the project
- curatorial assistance
- project documentation
- press and communication
- venue host assistance
The project aims to provide a platform for students, academics and professionals, interested in light.
It will be beneficial for networking, gaining experience and develop your research interests and your creative portfolio.
If you are interested in being involved with the International Day of Light event, or want to find out more – please send your expression of interest to Sara Buoso s.buoso1@arts.ac.uk, including details of your course and college.
