Ambassadors will design, deliver and innovate student-led activities and events, assist with our social media channels, and promote and act as a point of contact for the Post-Grad Community across colleges and courses.

This is a fantastic opportunity for current postgraduate students (Masters/PhD) to take a more active role in the University's postgraduate community and gain paid work and experience whilst studying.

Post-Grad Community is committed to having a diverse and inclusive workforce and always welcomes all applications, particularly those from LGBTQ+ and BAME communities.

The way it will work

We will be recruiting Ambassadors from each college to work approximately 20 hours per term.

There will be an Ambassador Training workshop in person where you will learn more about the role, meet one another and discuss ideas.

An Ambassador Team will also be set up to allow the Ambassadors to connect with each other and collaborate on events.

Ambassadors will be paid via ArtsTemps at £14.74 per hour where hours and activity is agreed.

What past Ambassadors have said about the role

“It was a very enriching experience, and it was great to get to know other Post-Grads students from all the different campuses”.

"I thought it was a rewarding experience and it gave me more confidence. I also gained more confidence writing articles in English”.

“I thoroughly enjoyed being an Ambassador - it was the highlight of my degree!!”

“The support offered by the whole team was invaluable for pushing me out of my comfort zone and achieving more than I could have imagined alone.  Even in lockdown, I have felt very much connected to the Post-Grad Community”.

“It was a great opportunity to meet students from different courses and attend events that relate to different subjects than the one I am studying”.

“A wonderful opportunity a long side your MA study to lead a creative community and get to know fellow students and alumni from all UAL colleges”.
