Postgraduate Tuition Fees

These are the tuition fees for taught postgraduate courses, including MA, PgDip, PgCert and GradDip.

Tuition fees for research degrees, including MPhil and PhD can be found on our Research Degrees pages.

When reading the information on this page, note that:

  • The tuition fee that you are charged depends on your fee status (i.e. Home/EU or International). It also depends on the duration of the course, whether a lower, standard or higher rate is charged, and sometimes your previous qualifications, as shown in the tables below.
  • The tuition fees quoted on this page cover the cost of the whole course and are not quoted per academic year. Students who will be starting their course between September 2019 and August 2020 can see their tuition fees in the 2019/20 section below, whereas students who started between September 2018 and August 2019 can see their tuition fee in the 2018/19 section below.  Students who started between September 2017 to August 2018 should look at the 2017/18 section.
  • The tuition fees for each specific course (including a small number of courses which are not covered by this page) and any additional fees can be seen on individual course pages.
  • If you have already studied on a Higher Education course this may affect your student finance entitlement. Find out more on our Previous Study page.
