Sarabande Foundation Scholarship (MA)

Sarabande Foundation Scholarship (MA) of £23,910 is available to 1 student accepted on the MA Fashion course at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the Sarabande Foundation Scholarship (MA) students must be:

  • *Accepted onto the full-time MA Fashion course at Central Saint Martins, UAL starting in October 2021

About

Sarabande Foundation was established by the late Alexander McQueen CBE to provide undergraduate and postgraduate students experiencing financial hardship with an equal opportunity to study fashion.

The Foundation offers scholarships to ensure that the creative talent of gifted, yet disadvantaged students, can flourish in their academic studies and creative development.

The scholarship will be assessed on the basis of financial need and academic merit. It will provide a contribution of £12,910 towards tuition fees and £11,000 towards course costs and living expenses.

Applications are encouraged from students who are unable to finance themselves through their studies but are gifted with an abundance of talent and dare to challenge the status quo.

Applicants must have a raw, original talent complimented by a strong drive to succeed in the fashion industry.

Applications for this scholarship must be made by filling in an online application form. More information provided in the guidance notes:

Closing date: Tuesday 31 August 2021

The panel will be scheduled for late September – early October 2021. The date will be communicated to shortlisted students.

Receiving payment

The scholarship will provide a contribution of £12,910 towards your tuition fees. International students will be responsible for paying the remainder of the course tuition fee and payment will be required at the time of enrolment.

Tuition fees will be paid directly from the award into the University’s Tuition Fees account in annual instalments.

The scholarship will provide a contribution of £11,000 towards course costs and living expenses.

Course costs and living expenses payments will be paid in termly instalments via BACS to the award recipient.
