Mona Hatoum Foundation Bursaries

The Mona Hatoum Foundation Bursaries of £6,000 each are available to 3 Home or International students enrolled on the first year of the MA Fine Art course at Central Saint Martins.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the Mona Hatoum Foundation Bursaries, students must be:

  • enrolled on the first year of the full-time MA Fine Art course at Central Saint Martins, University of The Arts London, starting in September 2022

About

Established by distinguished Byam Shaw Alumna Mona Hatoum, The Mona Hatoum Foundation Bursaries were first introduced in 2015 to support financially disadvantaged postgraduate students on the MA Fine Art course at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London.

The scholarship will be assessed on the basis of financial need and academic merit. It will provide a contribution towards course fees and/or living costs.

Applications are welcome from those who are in financial hardship and those who will benefit from postgraduate studies to realise their full potential.

Applications for this scholarship must be made by filling in an online application form. More information provided in the guidance notes:

Closing date: Friday 6 January 2023.

Receiving payment

The bursary will provide a contribution towards course fees and/or living costs.

Payment will be made via BACS in termly instalments over the course of the two-year MA course.

Award recipients will decide whether the payment should be allocated to course fees or living costs.

Course fees will be paid directly from the award into the University’s Tuition Fees account.
