Our US Loan webpages are currently being updated to reflect recent changes resulting from the One Big Beautiful Bill. While most of the information on these pages remains accurate and relevant, some content may be out of date.

Whether you're pursuing undergraduate, graduate, or other courses, UAL provides the necessary guidance to help you manage your educational expenses effectively.
New students
Based on the information released so far, it is expected that Undergraduate loan limits will change significantly. In addition, Graduate PLUS loans are currently expected to be unavailable to new borrowers from July 2026. These details remain subject to change until the new regulations are finalised. We will update our webpages as soon as confirmed guidance is available.
Continuing students
Our current understanding is that continuing students who already receive US federal loans may be able to continue borrowing under the existing loan limits for up to 3 years. However, this is also subject to change, pending final confirmation from the US Department of Education. We will update our guidance as soon as official information is released.
Staying informed
For the most up-to-date information, we recommend checking studentaid.gov, where official updates will be published as they become available.
