To celebrate the start of the new academic year, we are holding a Big Welcome competition, giving you the opportunity to show off your creative skills and get the chance to win a free UAL short course worth up to £700.
Whether you're a returning student or just beginning your studies with UAL, we want to see what you get up to! This could be in the classroom or around campus, at a UAL event, showcasing your work, or however you feel reflects your unique Big Welcome experience.
How to take part
- Post a video of your most memorable Big Welcome moments on Instagram or TikTok.
- Tag us on @unioftheartslondon and include #BigWelcome23 in your caption. If your Instagram profile is set to private, send us a message with your work.
Deadline: 9 October
The winner will be selected mid-October and given their prize short course.
Free short course prize terms and conditions
- By entering this competition, the winner and the participants agree that UAL Short Courses may use any image submitted for marketing activity on UAL Short Courses platforms, including email, social media and/or the UAL website. All images will be credited.
- The winner can select one UAL short course only, up to the value of £700.
- The winner must be suitable for the course (e.g. the right age group/level).
- The winner must agree to UAL’s short course terms and conditions.
- If a short course is not selected before the end of July 2024, the offer of a placement will become void.
- The offer of a free short course can be used by a different person with the written approval of the original offer holder.
- UAL reserves the right to substitute a free short course placement to an offer of equivalent or greater value if necessary, for reasons beyond our reasonable control.
- Should the winner wish to enrol on a short course higher than the value of £700 they must pay the difference.
- The free short course placement does not include any costs incurred by the winner in order to attend and join the course.
