At London Tech Week, innovation takes centre stage. This annual event brings together technologists, investors, and industry leaders who are shaping the future of tech – which is exactly why you’ll find UAL Creative Computing Institute (CCI) there.

Future Play is CCI’s inaugural immersive showcase at London Tech Week - a real-world space where technology and creativity intersect. Contemporary artists and designers manipulate code, use algorithms, exploit artificial intelligence, and engineer interactive systems to create experiences that were simply an idea just a few short years ago.

Drawing upon the wide spectrum of art, design, fashion, photography and media disciplines taught at UAL, CCI’s students and researchers are the latest generation of world-class talent taking these interdisciplinary ideas from imagination to reality.

From 9 to 11 June 2025, CCI students, alumni and staff present a curated collection of interactive digital artworks for London Tech Week’s visitors to explore. Each piece invites participation, creating unique moments where viewers become collaborators, their interaction shaping and transforming the work in real-time.

Explore the work and learn more about the artists featured at Future Play in our curated collection on UAL Showcase, UAL’s global online platform exhibiting works from the UK’s finest emerging creative talent. Discover the Future Play collection on UAL Showcase.
