Erasmus exchanges
Certificate of arrival
When you arrive at your host institution, please contact the International/Erasmus coordinator and make sure you have your Certificate of Arrival signed and sent to the UAL Mobility Manager and Erasmus Coordinator (internationalmobility@arts.ac.uk).
It should be sent within two weeks of your arrival.
Learning Agreement
When you arrive, you will enrol and register for your classes, with the help of the Erasmus/International Coordinator, this should be a straightforward process.
It is vitally important that you get your Learning Agreement and all changes to your Learning Agreement signed and agreed by all parties within five weeks after the start of your studies:
- Your host university (with signature and stamp).
- Your designated academic at UAL.
- Yourself.

Certificate of Attendance
Before coming home, you must ask your host university to sign your Certificate of Attendance to verify that you have successfully completed the exchange.
You should email the Certificate to the UAL Mobility Manager and Erasmus Coordinator at internationalmobility@arts.ac.uk within two weeks of your departure from your host institution.
Transcript of Records
Before coming home, please ask your host university for your Transcript of Records (a document that details the course modules or units you have passed/failed and the grades obtained).
Your transcript might also indicate the number of ECTS credits you have achieved. It is important that you give a copy of your transcript to the UAL Mobility Manager & Erasmus Coordinator at internationalmobility@arts.ac.uk as soon as possible so that your results can be taken into account for your progression at UAL.
When UAL receives your Transcript of Records obtained in your host institution, it will convert the grades obtained into UAL grades. Your credits will thus be fully recognised by UAL and you will be able to progress in your studies.
Compulsory online EU Survey
The participant shall complete and submit the online EU Survey within 30 days from the end date of the mobility period. You will receive the link to the survey by email at the end of your mobility period abroad.
This survey is a requirement of the European Commission. Please note that the second instalment of your grant will be held back until all forms are returned and the survey has been completed.
Grant receipts
The participant needs to submit two grant receipts to confirm reception of each instalment of the grant. The receipt is an online form which simply confirms the amount of money received, as well as the date the grant was received.
Turing Scheme exchanges
Grant Agreement and Learning Agreement
Once you have completed the initial application for Turing funding, you will be sent a Turing@UAL Scheme Pack including both your Grant Agreement and your Learning Agreement. This pack needs to be fully completed and signed off by yourself and a representative from your College before your first payment can be processed.
Certificate of Attendance
Before returning from your study exchange, you are required to have your host institution complete and sign your Certificate of Attendance form. This then needs to be returned to the International Mobility team at internationalmobility@arts.ac.uk within two weeks of your departure from your host institution.
Compulsory Turing Survey
Upon completion of your mobility, you will be sent a Turing survey that is compulsory for you to complete in order to receive your final instalment. This will be sent directly from internationalmobility@arts.ac.uk, so please keep an eye out for that.
