Biography

Xandra Drepaul is a fashion educator, practitioner, and researcher whose work centres on knowledge exchange through craft, community engagement, and playful approaches to 3D garment development. She is Senior Lecturer in Womenswear 3D Development at London College of Fashion (LCF), where her teaching and research explore the intersection of pattern cutting, material innovation, and collaborative making practices within contemporary fashion education.

Xandra’s professional experience spans digital pattern cutting and work with luxury fashion brands, informing her practice-led approach to teaching and research. She is particularly interested in how craft knowledge can be preserved, reinterpreted, and shared through industry collaboration and community-led initiatives. Her work bridges academic research, industry practice, and public engagement, fostering dialogue between traditional craft practices and emerging technologies.

Xandra has collaborated with the London Borough of Waltham Forest through a craft research residency and has facilitated industry-led student competitions and partnerships with designers and organisations including Phoebe English, The New Craft House, J&L Studios, and the William Morris Gallery.
